Press (DIGITAL!SP-PHONE).
•The DIGITAL SP-PHONE indicator lights.
•A free line is automatically selected and the line
indicator lights. (To change the line selection,
see page 80.)

Dial a phone number.
•After a few seconds, the display will show the
length of the call.

When the other party answers, talk into the
MIC (microphone).

To hang up, press (DIGITAL!SP-PHONE).
•The indicator lights go out.
•In step 1, you can select a line by pressing a line button whose indicator does not
light, instead of pressing (DIGITAL!SP-PHONE).
•To switch to the handset while using the base unit speakerphone:
–
If the handset is off the base unit, press the left soft key ( ) or the middle soft
key ( ) for the line, then press (DIGITAL!SP-PHONE) on the base unit.
– If on the base unit, just lift up.
