Clear Report Count
This clears all report counters. Report counters can be found throughout the SVMi-8 block definitions and on the
Status Screen. This will not clear the total run time display in System Wide Parameters.
Backup and Restore
This is a series of dialog boxes that will take the System Administrator through the process of backing up or restor-
ing the system files. The back up may include customer configuration, the system prompts, all the voice mail mes-
sages and audiotext announcements and all customized subscriber names and greetings.

Backup or Restore Dialog
Select Backup or Restore This dialog box offers the choice of: Backup or Restore. Select B or R.

File Selection Dialog
The System Administrator can select the type of files to transfer.
Type of Backup
Block and Facility Parameters: This is the customer configuration.
System and Custom Prompts: The system prompts. It should only be necessary to back these up if they have
been changed.
Messages and Announcement: All the voice mail messages and audiotext announcements.
Subscriber Names and Greetings: All customized subscriber names and greetings.
Files to be Included
Select the file spec. Choices are:
All: A complete back up of all files.
Newer: Only the files that have changed since the last back up.
Destination Drive
Select the destination drive:
C: This will perform a back up and save the files on the local drive. This is useful if you are making program-
ming changes and think you may need to restore older files in case of a mistake.
