Resetting your Sony handheld
Normally, you do not have to reset your Sony handheld.
However, if the system behaves abnormally or does not respond to the
button or stylus on the screen, and insufficient memory or other reasons,
you must reset your Sony handheld.
To reset (soft reset)
If you perform a soft reset, the system keeps data recorded in your Sony
handheld.
1 Take out the stylus pin by twisting the upper part of the
stylus.
2 Slowly press the reset button at the back of Sony handheld
using the stylus.
The system shuts down and then restarts.
After restarting, the system displays “Palm Computing Platform,” and
then the preferences screen for setting the time and date appears.
