4 Enter the user name and click OK.

Notes
• Even if HotSync operation performed via an USB connector on a cradle, “Serial” is
indicated.
• Do not remove or move your Sony handled from a cradle during HotSync operation.
• Do not push HotSync button during HotSync operation. It might cause errors to force to
quit the operation.
• Do not enter power saving mode during HotSync operation. If your computer enters
power saving mode during HotSync operation, HotSync Manager forced to quit your
computer.
Performing HotSync with the cradle (local HotSync)
Once you run HotSync in this way, you can perform it more quickly in
subsequent sessions.
1 Place your Sony handheld on the cradle.
2 Press the button on the front panel of the cradle.
The HotSync operation starts.
A message appears to show the completion of HotSync when the
operation is finished.
Note
Do not remove the Sony handheld from the cradle till the HotSync operation is finished.
