2. Press for Display.
3. Press for Backlight.
4. Press for Main Display, for Keypad, or for Pwr Save
Mode.
5. Use the navigation key to select:
• Flip open, 30 seconds, 15 seconds, or 8 seconds for the Main
Display.
• Flip open, 30 seconds, 15 seconds, 8 seconds or Off for Keypad.
• On or Off for Pwr Save Mode. Turning on the power save mode will
slow down the user interface response in order to conserve power.
6. Press to save and exit.
Note: Long backlight settings reduce the battery’s talk and standby times.
You can change the brightness of the LCD screens, making them brighter or
dimmer.
To change the LCD Contrast:
1. Press , followed by for Settings.
2. Press for Display.
3. Press for Backlight.
4. Press for Brightness.
5. Using the navigation keys, select a brightness level and press .
Sub Contrast
You can change the contrast settings for the front LCD display to suit your needs.
To change the sub LCD contrast:
1. Press , followed by for Settings.
2. Press for Display.
3. Press for Backlight.
4. Press for Sub Contrast.
5. Using the navigation keys, select a contrast level and press .
