Camcorder Options
There are several settings associated with the full-color digital camcorder. These
settings allow you to customize how the camcorder operates when taking videos.
To set a camcorder option:
1. Start the camera. For more information, see "Camcorder" on page 98.
2. Press the right softkey for Options.
3. Press the number key corresponding to the desired option.
Self-Timer: Allows you to configure a timer for Off, 5 Seconds or 10
Seconds.
Color Tones: Allows you to select between several different color
tones by pressing the navigation key left or right. When you find the
desired tone, press .
Controls: Allows you to set the Brightness and White Balance for
your videos.
Brightness: Allows you to set the brightness level. Press the
navigation key left or right to increase or decrease the desired
brightness.
White Balance: Allows you to set up the white balance of the
camcorder automatically or manually using the different preset
modes. The modes available are:
Auto: Automatically adjusts the lighting.
Sunny: Decreases the light sensitivity for taking videos in full or
mostly sunny conditions.
Cloudy: Increases light sensitivity for taking videos under
cloudy conditions.
Tungsten: Adjusts the white balance to match inside lighting
conditions displayed using common household light bulbs.
Fluorescent: Adjusts the white balance to match inside lighting
conditions displayed using common fluorescent lighting.
Manual: Allows you to adjust the white balance settings
manually.
Settings: Allows you to change the following camcorder settings:
