Using the Walkaway feature 33
• When your phone rings and the supervisor indicator lamp
flashes, press the Supervisor key.
•
When you are on a call and you hear a buzz and the
supervisor indicator lamp flashes, do the following:
— Press the Hold key.
— Press the Supervisor key.
2 Press the In-Calls key to return to the ACD call.

Calling the supervisor
Follow this procedure to call the supervisor. If you are on a call, that call is
automatically put on hold.
Step Action
1 Press the Supervisor key.
If you are on a call, that call is put on hold.
2 Perform one of these actions:
•
Press the Release key to disconnect from the supervisor.
• If there is a call on hold, press the In-Calls key to disconnect
from the supervisor and return to the caller.

Using the Walkaway feature
Follow this procedure when you need to walk away from your desk.
Step Action
To walk away
1 Press the Hold key.
The in-calls indicator lamp flashes.
2 Disconnect your headset.
To walk away while in not ready mode
3 Press the Not Ready key.
4 Press the Hold key.
5 Disconnect your headset.
