3. Procedure for Setting Office Data for OAI Services
This section explains the outline, using conditions, and office data setting procedure of the main OAI service
functions.
3.1 Switch Control Facility (SCF)
3.1.1 Functional Outline
The SCF is the facility that executes, from the Application Program (AP), such control operations as
connections/disconnections between NEAX2400 IMX-accommodate terminal (D
term
) and another,
between a D
term
and a C.O. Line Outgoing/Incoming Trunk, etc. The SCF has several functions (FN),
and explanations will be given in the following about “Basic Connecting Function (FN = 1) – Make Call
(Automatic Answer)” which is one of the several functions.
Note:
The basic connection function is a function which automatically set a terminal into an outgoing connection
status. Responding to a connection request from the AP, both the calling terminal number and the call
destination number can be designated.
