2MAKING AND ANSWERING CALLS
Making a call
Make sure you are in an area where a signal can be
received. Look for on the home screen. The
more bars you see in this symbol, the stronger the
signal. If there are no bars, move to where the
signal strength is better.
When the phone has been idle for a time, it changes
to power save mode. When you see “Power Save”
on your phone’s screen, press any key to return to
normal operating mode.
Swivel open
1.
Open the swivel.

Enter the phone number.

Press .
Swivel closed
You can only use the voice dialing feature when
calling with the swivel closed. Voice dialing
requires that a contact be saved with a voice tag.
See page 51.

Press and hold in to initiate voice dialing.
2.
Say the name of the contact when prompted.
The phone places the call.
Ending a call
Swivel open
Press or close swivel (if “End with
Swivel” is enabled. See page 10).
Swivel closed
Press in once.
Redialing a number
Swivel open
To redial a recent call, press twice to
access your recent calls. Highlight a phone
number, and press .
Tip:
To redial the last number called, received,
or missed, press three times. If you see a
message prompting you to speak a name, press
two more times.
Swivel closed
Press and hold down to launch the call
history list. Highlight a caller and press in.
