Test switch A test switch located on the back of the console enables
you to test the keys and lamps, and demonstrate certain
ringing characteristics. See Figure A-1.
Your console cannot receive or originate calls while in the
test mode. Therefore, the test mode should only be entered
during low-traffic hours.
