Voice Mail
Voice mail allows callers to leave voice messages, which can
be retrieved at any time.
Voice mail setup
Before callers can leave messages in your voice mailbox,
you’ll first need to set up your account.
1. In standby mode, press and hold until you connect
to voicemail.
2. When prompted for a password, enter 9999, which is
your phone’s default password.
3. Set your new password.
4. If you want, you can record an optional outgoing
message and register your name.
5. You will receive a “Setup successful” prompt when you’re
finished.
Once your voice mail account has been set up, you can use
the Voice folder (under the Message menu) to view details
of voice messages in your voice mailbox. See “Voice folder”
on page 69 for more information.
Access voice mail
1. Checking your voice mail is simple. In standby mode,
press and hold to dial voice mail. After you’re
connected, a recorded message asks you to enter your
password.
2. Enter your password, then press .
3. Follow the recorded prompts to listen to your voice
messages or change other options.
