2. Use the navigation key to highlight the desired sub
menu, then press .
3. For Set NAM, use the navigation key to highlight NAM 1 or
NAM 2, then press .
4. For Roam Option, use the navigation key to highlight
Home only, Automatic-A, or Automatic-B, then press .
Security
Use the Security menu to lock your phone, set up emergency
numbers, enable or disable voice privacy, set restrictions, and
other security options.
Lock Phone
Lock Phone limits all outgoing calls except those to 911 and
the three user-programmed emergency numbers. You can
lock the phone manually, or set the phone to lock
automatically when turned on. In Lock Mode, you can answer
calls, but you must unlock the phone to place calls (except to
emergency and secret numbers).
1. In standby mode, press the left soft key ( )

for
Security. You’re prompted to enter
the lock code. The default lock code is the last four digits
of your telephone number.
2. Press
for Lock Phone. The options listed in the
following table appear in the display.
Option Function
Never The phone remains unlocked.
On power up
The phone locks automatically the next time your
phone is powered on and stays locked until you
enter the lock code.
