Answering System Settings (For KX-TG2730 Users)
Make sure the base unit and the handset are not being used.
Caller’s recording time
You can select “1 minute”, “2 minutes”, “3 minutes” or “Greeting only” for
the caller’s recording time. The system is preset to “3 minutes”.
1. Press (SNOOZE/ALARM).
•You can also press (CONF/FUNCTION) to directly
enter the function menu and go to step 3.

Within 5 seconds, press the soft key ( ).
3. Scroll to “Initial setting” by pressing Ö
or Ñ,and press á.
4. Scroll to “Set answering” by pressing Öor
Ñ, and press á.
5. Scroll to “Recording time” by pressing Ö
or Ñ, and press á.
6. Select the recording time by pressing Öor
Ñ, and press the soft key ( )
SAVE
FUNCTION
If you select “Greeting only”, the Answering System will answer a call
with the greeting message, and then hang up. The system will not
record any incoming messages.
