Conference with two
external calls
(For KX-TG2720/KX-TG2740
users)
While having a conversation on
one line, you can make or answer
a second call on the other line and
then combine the calls to make a
conference call.

During a call, press
(HOLD/CLEAR) twice to put
the first call on hold.

To make or answer a second
call, select the other line by
pressing the relevant soft key
( or ).

When the second call is
connected, press
(CONF/FUNCTION) to make a
conference call.
•To hang up both lines, press if
using the speakerphone, or press
(OFF).
•
To hang up only one line, press the
relevant soft key ( or )
for the party with which you want to
continue talking.
•
To put both lines on hold, press
(HOLD/CLEAR). To talk with only one
caller, press the relevant soft key
( or ). To resume both
lines, press
(CONF/FUNCTION)
.
•You cannot call another extension to
make a conference call.

Conference with an
external call and an
intercom call
While you are talking with an
outside caller, you can call the
base unit or another handset to
make a conference call.

During a call, press
(HOLD/CLEAR).
•The call is put on hold.

To page the base unit, press
(0). To page another handset,
enter the extension number
using the dialing button ((1) to
(8)).

When the paged party answers,
press (CONF/FUNCTION) on
your handset to make a
conference call.
•To leave the conference, press
if using the speakerphone,
or press (OFF)
.
The two other
parties can continue the
conversation.
•
During a conference, the outside call
can be placed on hold by pressing
(HOLD/CLEAR). Internal
communications between extensions
are not suspended. Only the person
who placed the call on hold can
resume the full conference; press
(CONF/FUNCTION).
