Make sure the handset is not being used.

Press á to enter the directory list.

Scroll to the directory item you want to
change, by pressing Ö or Ñ.
•To search for the item by initial, see page 35.

Press the soft key ( ).

Edit the name using Ö or Ñ or the dialing
buttons ((0) to (9)), up to 16 characters (p. 34).
•To move the cursor, press Ü or á.
•To erase a character, press the soft key
( ) or (HOLD/CLEAR). To erase all of
the characters, press and hold the soft key
( ) or (HOLD/CLEAR).
•If you do not need to change the name, press
the soft key ( ) and go to step 6.

Add a number to the current number using
Ö or Ñ or the dialing buttons.
•To move the cursor, press Ü or á.
•Pressing the soft key ( ) or
(HOLD/CLEAR) erases one digit. To erase all
of the digits, press and hold the soft key
( ) or (HOLD/CLEAR).
•If you do not need to change the number, press
the soft key ( ) and go to step 8.
•To go back to the previous display, press the
soft key ( ). The name can now be edited.
