15 Set Password
(Shortcut: "i", "15", “PASSWORD”, “ok”)
This option allows the user to set a password to protect the phone from unauthorized use. To select set
password, press the “i” button and then press "15" – or scroll down until the selection is highlighted and
then press the “select” button. This is the left soft key button.
The menu will display “New Password”. Enter the password (up to X numbers.), then press the “save”
button, which is the left soft key button. Erase mistaken numbers, one at a time using the erase button,
which is the right soft key button.
Note: To exit without making an entry, press the ">" button on the right top of the phone, the
display will show “clear” and “cancel”. Press the "cancel" button (which is the right soft key button)
to exit.
Warning: If password is lost, the only way to recover the phone is by factory reset. A factory reset will
erase ALL current settings, including the directory and call logs.
