2 Getting Started
1. Indicator LED: Shows your phone’s connection status at a glance.
2. Display Screen: The display screen shows signal and battery strength,
time, day, and date. It also displays incoming calls or messages.
3. Menu/OK Key: Pressing when navigating through a menu accepts the
highlighted choice in a menu.
4. Headset Jack: Allows you to plug in an optional headset for safe,
convenient conversations.
5. Left Softkey: This key is used to navigate through menus and
applications by selecting the choice available in the Left Softkey Option.
6. Volume Keys: Allows you to adjust the ringer volume in idle mode (with
the phone open) or adjust the voice volume during a call. To mute the
ringer during an incoming call, press the volume key up or down.
7. Speaker Key: This key allows you to place or receive calls in
speakerphone mode.
8. TALK Key: Allows you to place or receive a call. In idle mode, press the
key once to access the recent call log.
9. QWERTY Keypad: Use these keys to enter numbers, letters, and
characters.
10. Earpiece: Allows you to hear the caller and automated prompts.
11. Status Bar Icons: Displays information about your phone’s status, such
as signal strength, roaming, ringer setting, messaging, and battery
charge.
12. Navigation Key: Allows you to scroll through the phone menu options
and provides a shortcut to phone functions from standby mode.
13. Right Softkey: This key is used to navigate menus and applications by
selecting the choice available in the Right Softkey Option.
14. microSD™ Card Slot: This expansion slot allows you to insert a
microSD™ memory card to add additional memory and storage
capacity.
15. Clear/BACK Key: Deletes characters from the display when you are in
text entry mode. Press to return to the previous menu or screen when
navigating features on your phone.
