Voicemail
All unanswered calls to your phone are automatically transferred to your Voicemail,
even if your phone is in use or turned off. However, you are only notified of new
messages when your phone is turned on and you are in a Service Area.
To set up your Voicemail:
1. Press and hold 1 on your phone’s keypad.
2. Follow the system prompts to create your passcode, record your
greeting, and record your name announcement.
To call your Voicemail:
• Press and hold 1 on your phone’s keypad.
To display your Missed Calls:
• Press , highlight the Calls menu, and press . The missed calls are
indicated with , the missed call icon.
Important: When you are roaming off the network, you may not receive
notification of new Voicemail messages. It is recommended that you periodically
check your Voicemail by dialing 1 + area code + your Phone Number. When your
Voicemail answers, press the key and enter your passcode. You will be
charged roaming rates when accessing Voicemail while roaming off the network.
Retrieving Your Voicemail Messages
You can review your messages directly from your phone or from any other touch-
tone phone. To dial from your phone, you can either speed dial your Voicemail or
use the menu keys.
Using One-Touch Message Access
• Press and hold 1 on your phone’s keypad. Follow the system prompts.
Using the Menu Keys on Your Phone to Access Your Messages
1. Activate the main menu, highlight the Messaging menu, and press .
2. Select Voicemail.
3. Select Call Voicemail to call the Voicemail server.
