Call Waiting from Central Office
During a conversation, a Call Waiting tone offered by your Central Office signals you
that there is a call waiting. You can respond to the call by placing the first call on hold.
Soft Button Operation
While hearing a Call Waiting tone through the handset;
1. Press the EFA (S2) button.
• The current call is placed on hold and you can talk to the
new caller.
Standard Operation
While hearing a Call Waiting tone through the handset;
1. Press the FLASH or FLASH/RCL button.
• The current call is placed on hold and you can talk to the
new caller.
Conditions
• You can return to the original party by pressing the FLASH or FLASH/RCL or EFA
(S2) button again.
