C 4.2 DPT Features
Call Hold, Exclusive
Prevents other extension users from retrieving your held call. Only the user who held the
call can retrieve it.
To place a call on exclusive hold
During a conversation;
1. Press the HOLD button.
• The CO or INTERCOM indicator light flashes green slowly.
• The current call is placed on hold.
2. Press the HOLD button again.
• The CO or INTERCOM indicator light flashes green
moderately.
• The current call is placed on exclusive hold.
Retrieving a call on exclusive hold
1. Press the CO or INTERCOM button which is on exclusive
hold.
• The CO or INTERCOM indicator light turns steady green.
• The held call is released.
Conditions
• If a held call is not retrieved within the specific period of time (default: 60 sec.), “Hold
Recall” occurs, and turns “exclusive hold” into a simple “hold”.
• If an outside call is placed on hold and not retrieved in thirty minutes, it is
automatically disconnected.
• With outside calls, you can put multiple calls on exclusive hold. However, with
intercom calls, you can put only one call on exclusive hold.
