3. Use the scroll key to select the desired call that you would like to dial.
4. Either lift the handset, or press the dial softkey, or the Speaker or Headset
key to dial the selected entry or press cancel to exit the Call History.
Using the Speakerphone
Your telephone contains a speakerphone that lets you converse “hands free”
without having to use the handset. A speakerphone also allows others in the room
to listen and participate in a telephone conversation.
When your phone rings, to use speakerphone, do one of the following:
• Press the Speaker () key.
• Press the red blinking line key.
To activate or deactivate the speakerphone anytime during a call, press the
Speaker (
) key on your phone and lift the handset to continue the conversation.
When the speaker is active, the handset becomes inactive, and vice versa.
Speakerphone Troubleshooting
Problem Solution
You can’t hear callers on the
speaker.
Increase the speaker volume by pressing the
Volume key once. Press the Scroll key to
adjust the volume as desired.
Callers can’t hear you when you use
the speakerphone.
Make sure nothing is blocking the microphone,
which is located on the left side of the
telephone under the handset cradle.
Move closer to the microphone and face the
microphone when speaking.
The caller’s voice echoes. Decrease the speaker volume by pressing the
Volume key once. Press the Scroll key to
adjust the volume as desired.
