Using Star Codes for Special Features on Analog Phones
For special features, you can use the following star codes.
Creating a conference
call
Call the first party. Press the hook flash button, and
then call the other party. Press the hook flash again
to join all parties in a conference call.
Handling multiple calls If you receive a second call during an active call,
press the hook flash button. The first call is placed
on hold, and the other call is answered. To toggle
between the calls, press the flash hook button.
Transferring a call While on a call with the first party, press the hook
flash button. Then call the other party. Hang up to
transfer the call immediately, or announce the call
first and then hang up.
Checking voicemail (if
enabled)
If there is new voicemail for the extension, you will
hear a stutter dial tone when you use an FXS phone.
To check your voicemail:
1. Dial the voicemail pilot number (default 395).
2. Enter the mailbox number.
3. Enter the password (default 12345).

*39 Unpark a call that was
parked from another
phone.
You will be prompted with a tone. Enter the
park slot number. Then press to retrieve
the call.
*56 Enable call waiting. If a
new call is received
during an active call, a
tone plays.
The feature is active until you disable it. If
you hear the call waiting tone during a call,
press the flash hook button to switch from
one call to another.
*57 Disable call waiting.
