n Memory clearing
Any unnecessary memory channels can be cleared.
The cleared memory channels become blank
channels.
q Select memory mode with [V/M].
w Push [CH], then select the memory channel to be
cleared with [UP Y] or [Z DN].
e Push [M-CL] for 1 sec. to clear the contents.
• The programmed frequency and operating mode
disappear.
• “BLANK” appears.
r To clear other memory channels, repeat steps w
and e.

D Transferring in memory mode
This is useful for transferring frequency and
operating mode while operating in memory mode.
When you have changed the frequency or
operating mode in the selected memory channel:
• Displayed frequency and mode are transferred.
• Programmed frequency and mode in the
memory channel are not transferred, and they
remain in the memory channel.
q Push [CH], then select the memory channel to
be transferred with [UP Y] or [Z DN] in memory
mode.
• And, set the frequency or operating mode if required.
w Push [M≈V] for 1 sec. to transfer the frequency
and operating mode.
• Displayed frequency and operating mode are
transferred to the VFO.
e To return to VFO mode, push [V/M] momentarily.
