Memory channel programming can be performed
either in VFO mode or in memory mode.
n Memory channel programming
D Programming in memory mode
q Select the desired memory channel with [UP Y]
or [Z DN] in memory mode.
• “BLANK” appears if the selected memory channel is a
blank channel (and does not have contents).
w Set the desired frequency and operating mode in
memory mode.
• To program a blank channel, use direct frequency
entry with the keypad in advance.
e Push [MW] for 1 sec. to program the displayed
frequency and operating mode into the memory
channel.
• Preamp setting, attenuator on/off,and AGC setting
can also be programmed into a memory channel.
[EXAMPLE]: Programming 21.280 MHz/CW into
memory channel 18.
D Programming in VFO mode
q Set the desired frequency and operating mode in
VFO mode.
w Push [CH], then push [UP Y] or [Z DN] several
times to select the desired memory channel.
• “MEMO” blinks.
• “BLANK” appears if the selected memory channel is a
blank channel.
e Push [MW] for 1 sec. to program the displayed
frequency and operating mode into the memory
channel.
r Push [CH] to exit memory channel select mode.
[EXAMPLE]: Programming 7.086 MHz/LSB into
memory channel 10.
