Choosing the Number
of Display Lines
When the MDW 9040 Pocket Phone is shipped from the factory, it is set for 2 lines of
text, on the second and the third lines of the display screen. However, the display can
be changed to 1 line of text if so desired.
To select the length of a Display message:
1 From the initial Configure Menu screen, press the Softkey ( ) below More.
The additional Configure Menu feature displays.
2 With the Select-Row arrow to the right of Display, press the Softkey ( )
below Sel.
The Display Menu screen displays.
Note: The currently active option, if there is one, flashes.
3 Press the Select-Row ( ) button to move the arrow to the display length you
want and press the Softkey ( ) below Sel.
