Answering Calls
1. When the phone rings, press the [ ] button on the
handset
-OR-
pick up the handset and press the [
] button.
2. Whennished,press[
] or [ ] to hang up.
Note:
Adjust the handset volume by pressing the
[ ]
or
[ ]
button during a call.
Call Timer
After you press the [ ]buttononthehandset,thebuilt-
in call timer shows on the display and counts the length of
time of the call in minutes and seconds.
Auto Standby
If you place the handset in the cradle while the handset
is off the hook (during a call), the call is automatically
disconnected.
Ringer HI/LOW/OFF (Shortcut)
TherearetwowaystosettheringertoHI/LOW/OFF.One
is the traditional way as described in the Programming
Functions;Handset Setup; RingerVolumemenus.The
other one is this short cut to ringer menu.
1. MakesurethephoneisOFF(notintalkmode).
2. Press the [
]buttontodisplay1HI2LOW3OFF.
3. Usethekeypadonthehandsettoselect1,2or3,or
use the [
] or [ ] button to scroll to your selection. HI
is the default setting.
4. Press [
] button again to save and display the new
selection for a few seconds.
