To play back your messages using the
handset
In standby your handset shows if unplayed
messages are stored by displaying the message
symbol . To play your messages:
• Press button once. Display shows
ANS
PHONE.
• Press button. Display shows PLAY, if there
are messages. It will show
ANS ON OFF if there
are none
• Press the button now functions as the
PLAY button.
• Press button. Display shows
PLS LISTEN
and
If Message Alert had been sounding it will
now stop.
• After a pause the voice says: ‘You have x
messages. Message 1’. The first message will
be played while display shows
• Base station displays the letters
PL.
• Handset displays
LAST FWD DEL. These line up
with the three keys below (✘➔ ), which
are now used to select from these options.
• At the end of message 1 the day and time of
the message is announced, e.g. ‘Saturday
12:01’. The process is repeated for each
additional message.

Playing, saving and deleting messages and
memos
Your Synergy 1500 treats messages and memos
in the same way for playing and deleting.
When messages have been recorded the
Synergy 1500 handset and base station will
indicate that they have been stored:
• Handset display shows the message
symbol if there are unplayed messages
and also the total number of messages stored,
whether played or not.
• Display also shows
HSET 1 XX, where 1 is the
number of the registered handset and
XX is
the number of stored messages.
• The base station display also shows the
number of stored messages.
• Message Alert, if activated, sounds if any
messages have not yet been listened to.
• The message symbol will not appear if
all stored messages have been played.
