To record and play back Outgoing Messages
You will need to record your messages before
setting the Answer Mode (for Answer Mode see
page 20).
To record and play back Outgoing Messages
1 and 2
Answer and Record (Outgoing message 1)
• Pick up the handset and press the Options
button . Display shows
ANS PHONE.
• Press button. Display shows
ANS ON OFF or
PLAY, if there are messages.
• Press button several times until display
shows
ANS SET-UP.
• Press button. Display shows
REC OGM.
• Press button. Display shows
ANS AND REC.
• Press button to toggle between
ANS AND REC
and ANS ONLY.
• Select
ANS AND REC by pressing button.
• Display shows
PLS LISTEN.
• The Answer and Record symbol appears
in the display.
• After 2 seconds the voice says ‘Please speak
after the tone. To end the recording please press
END (i.e. )’.
• The Answer and Record symbol and
END
appears in the display.
• Base station display shows ‘
r’.
• Now record your outgoing message, then
press button
• Handset display now shows
PLS LISTEN. Base
station displays
PL.
• After a 2 second delay you will hear: ‘Your
outgoing message is: ........’.
• The recorded message is played back.
• Base station displays current number of
messages stored, or
0 if there are none,
or –– if answer machine is switched off.
Handset displays
REC OGM.
You have now successfully recorded your first
outgoing message.
Answer and Record.
Answer Only (Outgoing message 2)
• With the handset display still showing REC OGM
press button. Display shows ANS AND REC.
• Press button to toggle between
ANS AND REC
and ANS ONLY.
• When ANS ONLY is displayed press button.
Display shows
PLS LISTEN.
• The Answer and Record symbol appears
in the display.
• After 2 seconds the voice says ‘Please speak
after the tone. To end the recording please press
END (i.e. )’.
• The Answer and Record symbol and
END
appear in the display.
• Base station display shows ‘r’.
• Now record your outgoing message, then
press button
• Handset now shows
PLS LISTEN.
• Base station displays
PL.
• After a 2 second delay you will hear: ‘Your
outgoing message is: .............’
• The recorded message is played back at this
point.
• Base station displays current number of
messages stored, or
0 if there are none,
or –– if answer machine is switched off.

REC OGM.
