If set to
OFF the answering machine will not
answer an incoming call until after 20 rings.
This feature is designed to allow plenty of time
for calls to be answered and to provide a back-
up if you have inadvertently left the machine set
to
OFF or, for any reason, cannot take the call.

The base station display will show the current
status of your Synergy 1500 answering machine.
--’ indicates that it is off, ‘0’ that it is on.

ANSWER ON/OFF button. The
voice says ‘Answer off’.
• Display shows ‘
--’.
• Pressing the button again will turn the
machine back on. Voice says ‘Answer on’.
Display shows ‘

The display on your handset will also change to
indicate the settings at the base station.
• If set to
ON, the handset will show HSET 1 01
(the last two digits indicate the number of
messages stored).
• If set to
OFF the handset display will show
HSET 1 only.
