New directory entries
• Press the CENTER NavKey to enter the
main menu.
• When the directory is shown on the screen,
press the CENTER NavKey to enter the
directory menu.
• Press the softkey NEW to insert a new entry.
Entering a name
Use the dial pad and the table below to enter a
name (up to sixteen characters). Each press of
a particular key will cause characters to be dis-
played in the following order:

The cursor moves to the right automatically after
two seconds or when you press another dial pad
key or the
RIGHT NavKey (press twice to enter
a space). When the name is complete, press the
softkey
DONE.
• Press the softkey ERASE or the LEFT NavKey
if you make a mistake.
NOTE: Up to 16
alphanumeric characters
(including spaces) can be
used for each name.
