CALL FORWARDING
If subscribed to, this service forwards incoming calls to a different
number. This action occurs after a certain number of rings or if the line
is in use (busy).
CALLER ID
Caller ID displays a caller’s name and phone number in a Caller ID
box.
CALL RETURN
With this feature, your telephone automatically dials the last incoming
call.
CALL REJECT
The Express 3000 provides two methods for rejecting incoming calls:
using a call reject list and rejecting anonymous calls. Both of these fea-
tures are enabled and disabled from the
Phone List
tab which opens
when you are working with User profiles.
Call Rejection List
The Call Rejection List compares all incoming Speech and Audio call-
ing party numbers to a user-created list of ten numbers that the user
wants rejected. If a match is found, the POTS port will not ring. Gen-
erally, the caller experiences a busy signal. To find out if calls have
been rejected, users must view the Status Buffer for rejection messag-
es.
Anonymous Call Rejection
Sometimes callers block a party number so that you cannot see who is
calling in (i.e., an anonymous call). These numbers normally appear as
Private
