3.3 Installation of the KX-TDA Maintenance Console
150 Installation Manual
Notice
1. During a long programming session, it is highly recommended that you periodically
save the system data to the SD Memory Card. You can think of system data as stored
in RAM, whereas SD Memory Card as stored on a hard disk. If the PBX undergoes a
sudden power failure or system reset for some reason, all the system data will be lost.
To save the system data to the SD Memory Card, (1) click "SD Memory Backup" icon
before resetting the PBX or turning off the power, or (2) exit the KX-TDA Maintenance
Console so that the PBX starts automatically to save the system data.
2. When the PBX is initialised, not all data is taken from the SD Memory Card. The data
for present status of extension FWD/DND button is taken from battery backup
memory in the PBX.
CAUTION
Do not remove the SD Memory Card during access to it. Doing so will damage the system
data, and in the worst case, damage the SD Memory Card.
6. Follow the instructions of the wizard and
assign the basic items (Quick Setup).
The programme menu appears.
