CROSSTALK XVI
Crosstalk XVI is a data communications software package produced by
Digital Communications Associates.
Configuring the Software
1.
At the DOS prompt, type
xtalk
[ Enter ]
A title screen is displayed for a few seconds, followed by the
Status Screen
as shown below.

your Status screen or press the number for Setup and
[ Enter ]
again
to access the command line, then type LOad SETUP.

[ Enter ].
Select the letter next to Hayes Smartmodem (all models).
Select the letter next to Hayes Smartmodem 2400.
Select the COMmunication port to which your data module is
connected (typically COM 1).
Press [ Enter
], and then wait a few seconds as Crosstalk sets up the
7400B Data Module.
