Using Phone Features
• To turn o the speakerphone, tap , or press and hold TALK
again until the speakerphone turns o.
Warning! To avoid damage to your hearing, do not hold your device against your ear
when the Speakerphone is turned on.
To mute a call
You can turn off the microphone during a call, so that you can hear the
caller but the caller cannot hear you.
• During a call, tap Mute.
• When the microphone is turned o, the mute icon (
) appears on
the screen. Tap Unmute to turn on the microphone again.
• When the correct contact is selected, tap Talk or press TALK button (
) to make a voice call.
• To send a text message to the selected contact, tap and hold the
contact, and then tap Send Text Message from the pop-up menu.
• To call a dierent phone number associated with the selected contact,
tap and hold the selected contact, and then tap the phone number
you want to call from the pop-up menu.
Tap the contact to pick up menu and select the phone number you
want to call.
Tip To view or edit information associated with the selected contact:
1. Tap and hold the contact's name, and then select Properties (applies only
to entries stored in Contact on your device.)
2. Tap Menu > Edit.
