13.7 Using Voice Commander
Voice Commander allows you to give some simple commands vocally to
save the time spent in searching through the Phonebook or applications
list. This program provides the following voice recognition functions:
• Call contacts
• Look up contacts
• Numeric dialing
• Launch application
• Control Windows Media music playback
• Play music file
You can record voice tags so that you can dial a phone number or launch
programs simply by speaking a word.
Using Voice Commander
You can access voice commander by using one of the following:
• Tap Start > Programs > Voice Commander;
• Press Voice Commander button directly.
Create a voice tag for a Contact
1. Tap Start > Settings > Personal tab > Voice Commander Settings.
2. The Contacts tab displays a list of all contacts on your device. Select
the desired contact, then tap Voice Tag icon to creat a voice tag.
