Replacing a Rectifier

Step 2 – Pull out the rectifier
Rectifier cases may exceed 100ºC (212ºF), especially after prolonged
operation. Use suitable gloves to remove the hot rectifier.
Grip the rectifier front panel with one hand as indicated by the arrows in the
diagram below and slowly pull it out from the shelf, supporting the base of the
rectifier with your other hand.
To avoid damage to the connector do not rest the rectifier on its connector, once
it has been removed from the shelf.
Procedure complete
You must now insert a replacement rectifier into the empty slot (see page 7-8), or fit a
blanking panel (Part Number: IPN 621-05722-63A).
