Call Blocking
The Call Blocking feature detects “Private Name” and/or “Private number” incoming
calls. When “Private Name” or “Private number” calls are received, Call Blocking directs
the call to be answered after the first ring by the answering machine. The caller will hear
the Private Greeting if you have recorded one. See The Private Greeting on page 15
for more information. The Call Blocking option default is off.
For example:
You may be receiving nuisance calls from “Private Number” and/or “Private Name” call-
ers. Enabling Call Blocking sends these types of calls to the answering machine after the
first ring instead of interrupting you.
