Finding items in the Directory
To listen to a personalized greeting:
1. Press
¢.
2. Press
ª to find your greeting.
3. Press
¶.
4. Press

To change a personalized greeting:
1. Press
¢.
2. Press
ª to find the greeting you want to change.
3. Press
§.
4. Lift handset and press
§.
5. Re-record your greeting.
6. Press
ß to end your recording.
7. Press

To delete a personalized greeting:
1. Press

2. Press ª to find the name you want or press the first letter of the name using
the dial pad. See Entering Names on page 22.

4. While the personalized greeting is playing, press
∑ twice.
5. Press
®.
Note: If you don’t have a personalized greeting assigned to a number in your direc-
tory, the person calling you from that number will hear the General Mailbox greeting
if you have recorded one. If you have not recorded a general greeting, the caller will
hear the factory-programmed greeting.
To find items in the Directory:
1. To see the Directory heading, press
¢.
2. To see the listings that start with a particular letter, press the appropriate dial pad key.
To see the other listings under that letter, press
–. (For example: fi takes you
to the first “J” listing, then
– takes you to the next “J” listing. fi fi takes you to
the first “K” listing). See
Entering Names on page 22.
Or, to move down and up the list, press
– or ≠. If you want to scroll
steadily, press and hold
– or ≠. To view which mailbox you have
assigned someone or to listen to a voice tag you have recorded for someone, press
‘. To listen to the personalized greeting for a Directory entry, press ¶.
3. To leave the Directory at any time, press
¢ or ®.
Note: If you are on a call while you are viewing the Directory, pressing
® also
drops the call.
