Turning the display of Call Waiting Identification on or off
You can choose whether or not Call Waiting Identification is displayed on your telephone.
Note : Turning the display of Call Waiting Identification on or off does not turn the feature
itself on or off. When the Call Waiting display is turned off, you will still hear the
Call Waiting tone when a Call Waiting call comes in, but the Identification for the
Call Waiting caller will not appear on your screen. Contact your local telephone
company to subscribe or unsubscribe to Calling Line Identification with Call Wait-
ing Identification services.
Changing the display language
You may wish to change the language of the display messages and prompts.
Setting the date and time
If you subscribe to the Calling Line Identification service from your telephone company,
the date and time are set automatically after you receive your first incoming call. If you do
not subscribe, you must set the date and time manually.
To resume the automatic date and time setting (if the date and time has been set manually),
disconnect the power supply, then re-connect it. After your first incoming call, the date and
time are automatically set.
To turn the display of Call Waiting Identification on or off:
1. Press the Set Options key.
2. Use ª to scroll to number 26 or press ¤fl to go directly to the item.
3. Press to turn the Call Waiting Identification display on or off.
4. Press

To change the language:
1. Press the Set Options key.
2. Use
ª to scroll to number 1 or press ‚⁄ to go directly to the item.
3. Press
to select the language.
4. Press
®.
To set the date and time manually:
1. Press the Set Options key.
2. Use
ª to scroll to number 2 or press ‚¤ to go directly to the item
3. Follow the instructions on the display.
