Pairing and Unpairing Cordless Handset to Base
Pairing Handset
All handsets must be paired to a Base Station. This is performed from both
the base and the cordless handset. Successful pairing will add the handset
name to the handset list on the base and synchronize the handset list from
the base to the newly paired handset. A total of 4 handsets can be paired to
a single 57i CT base.
Note: When performing the handset pairing, it is recommended that thehandset be
within 3 feet of the 57i CT base.
1. On the 57i CT base unit press .
2. Select Handset Pairing
3. Select Pair
Note: If there are already 4 handsets paired to the base, you will not be able to select
the Pair option.
4. On the 57i CT cordless handset press Â.
5. Select Hset pairing
Note: If the handset has already been paired, the softkey will be labelled as Remove
instead of Pair.
Ensure the handset being paired is within close proximity to the base. It is
recommended that the handset be within 3 feet from the 57i CT base.
Note: It is recommended that both steps 6 and 7 be executed at the same time.
