9.5.4 Time (Auto and Manual)
You can set the time and the date displayed on the main screen of UIP312. UIP312 provides
two ways to do it. [AUTO] Mode enables UIP312 to set the time and date automatically.
[MANUAL] Mode let you directly set them.
9.5.4.1 AUTO Mode
In this mode, the time and date are automatically set, and they are valid even after reboot.
If the time and date are not automatically set after reboot even in [AUTO] Mode, consult
your administrator.
1. Press the MENU button.
On the MENU screen, select System
and then select Time.
2. Select Mode on the Time screen and press
the right arrow key until AUTO mode is
selected. (The default is AUTO.)
In the manual option, users enter the time
directly. In the Auto option, the phone gets
the time from the time sever.
Note: Because when in DHCP mode, the phone obtains the time server address and the
time offset from the DHCP server, the time server and time-offset entered in the
menu do not take effect.
TIP : Accessing AUTO menu will generates
“Invalid Mode” warning message when
Mode is set to [MANUAL] or the phone is
in DHCP mode.
