Replacing the battery
Make sure the power is turned off before replacing the battery.
Do not press
o
until the battery replacement procedure is
complete.
1. Turn off the Organizer.
2. On the back of the Organizer, slide
the Battery Replacement switch to the
“REPLACE BATTERY” position, then
slide out to remove the battery
compartment cover.
3. Remove the old battery.
4. Insert the new battery, making sure to
correctly orient the plus (+) and minus
(-) terminals, as illustrated.
5. Slide the battery compartment cover
closed until it snaps into place, then
slide the Battery Replacement switch
back to the “NORMAL OPERATION”
position, then press the RESET switch..
6. A dialog "System Reset Clear All Data? Yes No" will be displayed.
Tap "No".
7. Check that the clock is set to the correct time.
Caution:
Clock settings, entries, and/or other settings may be lost when the
battery is removed for a long time. Replace the battery promptly.
Make sure to confirm all settings after replacing the battery.
