2.9.2 Modular Plug Connection
Insert the modular plug of each telephone cord into an available modular jack of the VPS.
Note
• Connections should be made using solid twisted pair copper conductors and a minimum of 24 gauge
cables that comply with the electrical specifications for Category 3 wiring as detailed in the ANSI/EIA/
TIA-570A Building Wiring Standards. The maximum length of each VPS-PBX connection should be
under 100 m (330 ft.).
