Mitel 5560 IPT User Guide
To use Handsfree operation to answer calls:
1. Press Left or Right to select the handset you want to use.
2. Press the flashing line key or float key.
3. Press Speaker.
4. Do one of the following:
Press and immediately release Microphone to turn the microphone on continuously
Press and hold Microphone to use the push-to-talk Microphone feature
5. Begin speaking.
To hang up while using Handsfree operation:
Press the Release key that is associated with the display that had the call (left or right).

NOTES
In this scenario, pressing the Left/Right buttons has no effect on the handset call –
it remains active. Use the handset pushbutton to control mute/un-mute for the
handset call.
In this scenario, the speaker is always active. This means that you (and possibly
your handset caller) can overhear anything said by your handsfree caller. Use the
Microphone key to mute/un-mute the microphone for the handsfree call..
