Auto-Answer Mode
To answer calls when your phone is connected to an optional hands-free
car kit:
1. From the main menu, select Settings().
2. Select Setup().
3. Select Auto-Answer().
4. To select an option, highlight it and press .

Off to disable Auto-Answer.
ᮣ
Car-Kit to answer calls automatically when it is connected to a
hands-free car kit. Remember, your phone will answer calls in
Auto-Answer Mode even if you are not present.
Data Call Settings
To prepare your phone to receive data transmissions:
1. From the main menu, select Settings().
2. Select Setup().
3. Select Data-In().
4. Select an option and the appropriate settings:

Connection ( ) to assign the phone’s immediate data receptor
availability.
ᮣ
Method ( ) to assign the current connection method.
ᮣ
Speed ( ) to assign a data transfer rate (measured in bits
per second [bps]).
