Image problems
Images are out of focus
Cause What to do
Did you operate the auto-focus
correctly?
Place the subject in the center of the focus area and press the shutter
button halfway. See “Taking Photos Using the LCD Screen” on page
25 for details.
Is the camera in the right
distance mode setting?
Make sure you are at least 20 inches away from your subject (or 4.3
inches in Macro mode).
Is the lens dirty? See “Cleaning your camera” on page 69 and clean the lens.
Is the captured image blurred? Hold the camera in the proper position when shooting, with your arm
close to your body. Use a tripod for night scenes and other low light
situations.
The image is too dark or to bright (underexposed/overexposed)
