6.3.15 NAT Setting
Use these menus to configure NAT (Network Address Translation) on the V300. See Section
10.1.7 on page 108 for more information. Select Adv Setting > SIP Setting > NAT Setting.
The following screen displays.

• Select STUN to configure Simple Traversal of User Datagram Protocol (UDP) through
Network Address Translators. STUN lets the V300 get NAT information automatically
from a STUN server.
• Select Outbound Proxy if you have an outbound proxy server.
• Turn on Keep Alive (Enable) to stop NAT routers between the V300 and the SIP server
from dropping the SIP session.
6.3.15.1 STUN
Use this menu to have the V300 get NAT information automatically from a STUN server.
Select Adv Setting > SIP Setting > NAT Setting > STUN. The following screen displays.

The following table describes the labels in this screen.
6.3.15.1.1 STUN Server Address
Use this menu to see or edit the IP address of the STUN server you want to use. Select Adv
Setting > SIP Setting > NAT Setting > Server Addr. The following screen displays.

If a STUN server address is already configured on the V300, it displays in this screen. If no
STUN server address is already configured, none displays. Press MENU to edit the address, or
press PHONEBOOK to return to the previous screen.
Press MENU in the STUN Server Address screen. The following screen displays.

LABEL DESCRIPTION
Active Select this to turn STUN on or off.
Server Addr Select this to see or edit the STUN server’s IP address or domain name.
Server Port Select this to see or edit the STUN server’s listening port.
2 Server Addr:
