1 Select the feature you want to configure. In this example, press the Navigator down to
enter the menu system, then select Call Pref. (call preference). In the Call Pref. menu,
select Call FW (call forwarding). The following screen displays.

" Note that in this screen, and those like it, Active does not mean that the
feature is enabled.
2 Select Active to see the feature’s current setting. One of the following two screens
displays.

If Enable appears, the feature is on. If Disable appears, the feature is off.
3 To change the setting, press MENU. A screen appears offering you the choice to enable
or disable the feature.

4 Select Enable? to turn the feature on, or select Disable? to turn the feature off. Press
MENU to save your changes. The screen returns to that shown in step 1.
3.3 Entering Numbers, Letters and Symbols
When you enter information into the V300 (when setting up a phonebook entry, for example)
you may need to enter different kinds of characters. The alphanumeric keypad has four input
modes:
• Number mode
• Uppercase mode
• Lowercase mode
