Infrared
Receiver
On the Start menu, tap Programs and then tap the
Infrared Receive icon. Infrared Receive establishes the
connection between your V37 and the IR device.
Terminal
Services
On the Start menu, tap Programs and then tap the
Terminal Services icon. Terminal Services allows you to
access the programs and documents in a Windows NT server
type PC that is running Terminal Services.
Backup On the Start menu, tap Programs and then tap the Backup
icon. Backup enables you to back up all data stored in the
internal (RAM) memory on your V37. For more information,
see section “Backing up Data” in Chapter 3.
.NET Compact
Framework
.NET Compact Framework is built into the V37’s Flash ROM
image. Microsoft’s Compact Framework provides developers
an easy to use tool to develop managed code and XML web
service clients for Pocket PCs and other smart devices.
Because Compact Framework is a subset of Framework,
developers can reuse existing Visual Studio .NET code and
skills in smart device, desktop, and server environments.
