Activating AutoTalk (Handset only)
AutoTalk allows you to answer the phone simply by picking up the handset from the cradle. You do not have to press
a button to answer the call.
Press 1) [menu/clear]. Select the HANDSET SETUP menu, and then the
AUTOTALK submenu.
Move the cursor to select ON or OFF.2)
Press 3) [select/
]. You will hear a conrmation tone.
Activating Any Key Answer (Handset only)
Any Key Answer allows you to answer the phone by pressing any key on the dial pad.
Press 1) [menu/clear]. Select the HANDSET SETUP menu, and then the ANY KEY
ANSWER submenu.
Move the cursor to select ON or OFF.2)
Press 3) [select/
]. You will hear a conrmation tone.
Activating Clarity Boost for All Calls (Handset only)
Allows clarity boost feature to be turned on for all calls. See Using the Clarity Boost Feature on page 33.
Press 1) [menu/clear].
Select the HANDSET SETUP menu, and then the CLARITY BOOST submenu.2)
Select ON or OFF, and then press 3) [select/
]. You will hear a conrmation tone.
The clarity boost feature uses additional battery power therefore talk time will be reduced. Return handset to charger
when not in use to keep battery fully charged.
Activating Handset Keypad Lock
Press and hold [*/ ] key to activate the keypad lock. Repeat the process to deactivate the keypad lock.
